M.Sc. Second Rank in Organic Chemistry (Calicut University Dept., 1976 Batch) and Ph. D. in Organic Photochemical Reactions under the supervision of Prof. V. N. Rajasekharan Pillai (Vice-Chancellor IGNOU, New Delhi) from Calicut University with CSIR and UGC assistance. One year teaching experience at Zamorin’s Guruvayurappan College, Calicut and twenty nine years post graduate teaching experience in Govt. Colleges. Head of the Department for many years and principal in charge for short term. Worked as member UG board of studies, Calicut University and PG examiner for several years in Calicut University and M.G. University. Chief Supdt. of Calicut University examinations for many years and coordinator for NAAC accreditation in Sree Neelakanta Govt. Sanskrit College, Pattambi in which the college received 83.25 points (B++ grade). Attended various national seminars and an international seminar. Actively participated in administration, academic, arts, sports and all other extracurricular activities throughout the career.

Today we are in a world of knowledge explosion. A world where man has advanced from stone age to clone age. Knowledge has become universal, all embracing and omnipresent. We know that the development of any nation is measured purely on the Human Resource Development. It is this fact that has inspired, motivated and pushed us into action at GEMS. We know the challenges of the day and were sharpening our tools to face the challenges. We dream about a world where quality is the buzz word. At GEMS we have happily blended knowledge with wisdom and personality with character. We are proud indeed to move in tune with the need of the hour and of the future days.
